Branding is Very Important for Online Marketing

Far too often the individuals that get into internet marketing think about nothing but themselves. They have nothing on their minds except how much money they can make or how successful they can be. These thoughts aren’t necessarily wrong (there is a lot of power in the law of manifestation) but they certainly should not be the only thing inside your head as an internet marketer!

To be a successful internet marketer you have to be aware of how others think and know how others see your business and the products/services being promoted. What that basically means is that branding is very important to the success of your online business. You need to be sure to never forget about your personal and business brands.

Now, you might be wondering what exactly a brand is? The vast majority of people assume it’s the advertising slogan or the logo of a particular business. Or that it’s a company’s colors on their ads or other things that stick out to people. But while these things do make up part any company’s brand, they certainly are not everything that it entails. Actually, there is a lot more to it.

The simplest way to put it is that your brand is everything you do online for yourself or your business. Make sure you always remember that when you are doing anything on the internet. It is the way you handle your customers, every blog post you make, every forum discussion you participate in, every social media account you post on, every picture that gets posted, every email you send, and so on. It’s also every product or service you sell or promote.

Your branding is done through everything you do so you need to always remember that whatever you are doing is potentially affecting your brand, either positively or negatively. Think about that the next time you are about to publicly rant on a forum about a refund request. Remember that the next time you are about to send a nasty email or write a blog post trashing a fellow internet marketer. Just don’t ever forget about your business brand.

Branding is very important for any internet marketer or other business owner. You are your brand and everything about your business is your brand. So you need be sure you that everything you do represents your brand in the best possible way.

For proper branding you must first decide what exactly you want your business to be portrayed as and then make sure you are doing things that are in line with that decision. It doesn’t have to be all perfect and nice. There are plenty of people and businesses who brand themselves as a “jerk” or something else like that. You can become very successful by doing things differently than everyone else. Just make sure you create a brand that you can stick with and keep up the persona in order to build it successfully.

Really what I am trying to say here in not so many words is that branding is very important for your online business and marketing, and you should never forget about your brand in your daily life. This will certainly help make your internet marketing business more sustainable and increase your income.

Three Important Factors for Successful Content Writing

If you have a blog or any other type of website for your online business then you need to know how to write great content. At the very minimum you are going to be writing for your own blogs/sites. In addition to that, you will probably be writing for at least one of the following reasons, if not all of them; articles for promotion, press releases, guest posts for other blogs, information products, sales copy, and more.

Whatever the reason may be, it is vitally important to be able to write well if you plan to build a successful internet business of any kind. Here are 3 important factors for successful content writing on the web:

1) Write Frequently

If you want to become a sports superstar or a famous musician, or become successful at anything else, you have to practice. The same rule applies for writing high quality content. You need to hone your writing skills and keep them sharp. In order to do that you should write a bare minimum of 500 words every day. That might sound like a lot but it’s really not very much at all. The post you are reading right now is around that length. Really most days you should write up to five times that amount, or more.

Another thing you want to do that goes along with writing a lot is read a lot. Find blogs, articles, forums, books, and other things in your niche to read on a regular basis. Believe it or not but reading will help you with writing. And they don’t all have to be in your niche, you should read other stuff too. Any time you read good writing it will help you become a better writer.

2) Develop a Unique Writing Style

As you continue to write and read, you should be able to develop a writing style that is unique to you and doesn’t sound like everyone else out there. Be different and embrace the fact that you have your own unique style of writing. Stick with it and people will take notice. You can build up a very loyal following if you write in a way that people truly enjoy.

3) Be Valuable

A very important factor for successfully writing online is to be very valuable to your readers. How you provide value will depend on your niche and what you are trying to accomplish with your website. In general, this will usually mean that you either entertain or educate your readers with your writing. It’s even better if you can do both at the same time but you definitely need to at least do one or the other.

If you are just stringing words together for the sake of writing then you will never build up a readership. People either want to learn or be entertained, or both at once. If you can do that with your writing then you will do great.

So, three of the most important factors for successful content writing online are to write (and read) frequently, develop a unique writing style, and be valuable to your readers. If you keep those three factors in mind when writing then you should be able to create great content for your online business.

Realizing the True Power of Marketing

The most basic definition of marketing is using various processes and strategies to find a need and fill it. Many people confuse sales with marketing but they are not the same thing. Marketing can be very powerful and it encompasses several different things — Sales is just one part of it.

One of the big differences between sales and marketing is that when you are selling something you are trying to convince a person to buy a product. You will display or discuss all the different features in an attractive way, and hope to get the person to purchase the product or service. I’m sure as a business person you have probably tried that before, so you know that it works on a mostly unpredictable scale of averages.

When hundreds or even thousands of people visit your website, which is a fairly difficult task in and of itself, a small percentage of them will stay long enough to check out what you are offering. Then, if your product or service is amazing and your sales copy is excellent, another small percentage of those people will become customers. So you need to think about the sheer volume of traffic you have to drive to your website in order to actually earn a lot of money from it.

So, instead of just trying to “sell” to anyone and everyone that comes your way, your best option is to invest in marketing so you get the right types of people coming to your website. You need to use marketing tactics to identify who your potential customers are, bring them to your site, turn them into actual customers, satisfy their needs, and keep them coming back for more!

Think about it, if you are selling dog collars on your website, and you get 10,000 visitors who do not have dogs; your chances of making a sale are zero. But if you create a marketing campaign that targets dog owners and brings them to your site, you have greatly increased your chances of success. It’s a heck of a lot easier to sell collars to dog owners than it is to people who don’t even have dogs. That is the power of marketing!

There are many different kinds of marketing that you can do online with great results, they each have their own advantages, disadvantages and differing strategies but they are typically categorized under one umbrella called, internet marketing. Some of these techniques include search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing (SMM), pay per click (PPC), video marketing, and several others.

There’s a lot to learn so it won’t be quick or easy, but online marketing can be incredibly effective and cost efficient. The best way to figure out what works for you is to test various strategies and combinations of them until you are getting the results you desire. Be a marketer, not a salesman!

What Is Bring The Fresh?

As an internet marketer or someone just looking for ways to make money online, I am sure you have heard of “Bring the Fresh” and you might be wondering what it is? In a nutshell bring the fresh (BTF) is a membership site that is fully loaded with useful information and resources that actually teach you how to make money online. They teach an incredible system for building profitable websites, getting them ranked highly in Google and other search engines, and having them generate free passive income for you. Basically it’s a step-by-step blueprint for building a successful online business without needing a lot of money to do so.

I already wrote a Bring the Fresh Review so I won’t do that again here. You can use the above link to go read my review if you want to know my thoughts about it. What I will do in this post is give you a little more detail about what the BTF membership actually includes and teaches.

There’s no doubt that Bring the Fresh has caused a lot of buzz in the internet marketing world and has been recommended and promoted by many of the top marketers in this industry. The owners (Kelly Felix and Mike Long) have created an awesome series of videos that teach market research, product creation, copywriting, SEO, affiliate marketing, PPC, video marketing, and TONS more. They really thought of everything and included it all.

Here’s a quick rundown of just some of the stuff you will find inside BTF

* They show you exactly how to quickly create a website in a competitive market that the search engines will love. Yes, it is simple, and it really does work, even if you have no idea how to build a website.

* How to get numerous high authority websites to link to you. No spam or crappy links. We are talking about real authority links in a natural way.

* How to find profitable keywords fast. You will learn exactly how to go after “buying” keywords where the people searching will be ready to spend money now.

* A behind the scenes look at their incredibly successful websites and online businesses. You get to watch as they create them from start to finish, and how they made them profitable, time and time again. There is nothing left out, including a sneak peek inside campaigns that brought in millions of dollars in profits. Also, an up close look at some of the biggest product launches in the history of internet marketing!

* Access to a private members only forum. Kelly and Mike even personally answer questions there all the time. The information in the forum alone is more than worth the cost of bringthefresh.

* Their personal cell phone numbers and other ways to contact them. Seriously they give every member their cell phone numbers, skype address, email address, twitter, and facebook. You will never have any trouble getting a hold of them.

* …And MUCH more!

Here are the things that are NOT inside BTF

* A useless get rich quick scheme. While it is true that some of their members have earned small fortunes in a short amount of time, most people are happy with an extra $100 a day or so; on autopilot. That’s a much more realistic goal and something that can easily be done from the teachings in Bring the Fresh. They don’t give you false hyped up promises of becoming a millionaire overnight.

* How to build fake blogs or other crap like that. You’ve seen the blogs that look like online newspapers or news websites. You know the ones that sell worthless products and continue to bill the customer over and over without their consent. Kelly and Mike don’t recommend misleading people and they don’t do it themselves.

* How to trick search engines into liking your site or giving you undeserved high rankings. Tricks and schemes might work for a little while but they don’t last. If you are trying to make a quick buck through spamming or other black hat stuff, this is not the product for you.

* A customer service team located in a third world country that doesn’t even understand your questions or problems. The owners do their own customer service and personally answer every email.

* Tons of upsells. They don’t make you buy a bunch of expensive stuff in order to make their system work.

* …Or any other crap you might be expecting from an internet marketing product. This is the real deal.

Everyone from newbie’s to full out gurus can benefit from the information and resources that Bring the Fresh has to offer!

Obviously this isn’t some miracle product that will have you making money overnight without doing any work. There’s NO such thing! However, if you are willing to follow their advice and put in the necessary work to build a real online business, then “Bring the Fresh” truly is the system you have always dreamed of finding.

Again, I encourage you to follow the link above in the beginning of this post to find my review of bring the fresh. It will help give you some more information about what I actually found inside. Or you can go straight to BTF by following this link: BRING THE FRESH

Top 5 Home Business Opportunities for 2011

We are rolling along into 2011 already. The year is flying by as they always do. If you had plans to start or expand a home business this year but have been putting it off the time to go for it is right now! Before you know it the year will be over and you will be making plans for 2012 instead. There are plenty of great home business opportunities and other ways to become your own boss, so don’t put it off any longer.

To get you started on the right path, here are 5 of the best home business opportunities for 2011, in no particular order…

1) Network Marketing – Some people love it, some people hate it, and some people can’t decide either way. But it seems like everyone at least has some sort of an opinion about network marketing businesses, aka multi-level marketing or MLM. You have probably even had one pitched to you by someone in the past or maybe you have joined one before.

Whatever your opinions or experiences might be, one thing remains a fact, and it is that network marketing is one of the easiest, fastest, and most popular ways for the average person to start a home business. There have been more millionaires made in this industry than in any other in history. If you are looking to get out on your own and start your path towards residual income and financial freedom in 2011, you might want to consider network marketing as one of the best ways to do it.

A word of caution though, you do need to be very careful when choosing a network marketing opportunity. There are plenty of great programs out there that are perfectly legitimate. But there are also a lot of scams, schemes, and other shady business practices going on in this industry. Look past all the hype, watch for red flags, and do a lot of research before jumping into something.

2) Affiliate Marketer – This is undoubtedly one of the easiest and cheapest ways to start a home business. There are affiliate programs for pretty much every niche you could possibly think of and almost all of them are free to join. I have never seen a market where there wasn’t some product or service at least somewhat related to it that you could promote as an affiliate marketer. And rarely do you find any that actually cost to join, although sometimes they do.

You can also use free blogging platforms such as blogger and wordpress to start a site. Then, you can use free internet marketing strategies to promote them. So basically you could build a successful business without spending a cent. Although I do recommend getting your own domain and hosting, and spending some money on a few resources to help you along the way, but it’s not necessarily required. That’s what makes this such a popular way to make money and why it made the top 5 business opportunities list.

However, just because it’s easy to get started with affiliate marketing, and can be done by spending very little money, if any, doesn’t mean you will be able to simply join a program and be cashing in the next day. It does take a lot of learning, time, and hard work to build a successful affiliate marketing business. You still have to put in the necessary effort just like everyone else.

3) Professional Blogger – Another one of the best home business ideas for 2011 and probably for many years to come is becoming a blogging professional. There’s a virtually unlimited amount of topics that you can make money blogging about. If you have a passion or specific knowledge about something that other people are interested in then you can become a professional blogger and earn a living writing about it.

You will need to research the niche and various topics within it before jumping in so you can be sure there is an audience out there. You don’t want to waste your time writing and trying to build a business around a blog topic that nobody has an interest in. You also want to be sure that you aren’t choosing a niche so competitive that you will never be able to get anywhere with it.

Two of the most important parts of succeeding with a business like this are consistency and perseverance. It’s always easy to stay motivated at first but it takes time to write a lot of content, build up a solid readership, get high search engine rankings, daily traffic, and eventually a great income. The hard part is sticking it out until all of that happens. You need to be determined and continually work at it for quite a while before it will begin to pay off.

4) Online Business Consultant – With each year that passes the internet becomes more popular for starting home businesses online. But most people don’t have a clue how to get started or where to go after they do start. So there is huge money to be made if you want to teach them what they need to know.

They need to learn everything from niche research to setting up a blog/site to SEO, link building, marketing, social networking, copy writing, building a list, and everything else that goes along with internet marketing. There are a lot of people and even corporations that will pay a lot of money for help with that stuff. If you have the knowledge and skills then you can definitely do very well as an online business consultant.

This isn’t really so much a way to get your home business started because you will obviously need to already have plenty of experience in order to offer your consulting services. However, it is a great way to expand on your current business and create another income stream for yourself. This opportunity will only increase in popularity in 2011 and for many years to come.

5) eBay Seller – There’s really not a whole lot to say about this one. Just about everybody knows what eBay is and has used them for buying or selling items. For many years this has been one of the most popular ways to start a home business to make money online, and that is no different this year. You could technically be up and running today if you really wanted to.

You might think all the ideas for succeeding as an eBay seller have been taken but there are still plenty of opportunities to do very well with your own eBay home business. Admittedly it’s probably not quite as easy as it once was but it’s not impossible either. At the very least it can be a great way to get your foot in the door of the online business world.

One thing you must remember is that no matter what home business opportunity or idea you choose, it will take a lot of time and hard work to build it. Read that last sentence again because it is very important! The chances of you becoming successful in a month or two are slim to none. It rarely happens no matter what some marketers try to make you believe.

You need to be ready to put in 6 months to a year, or even longer, of consistent effort before you see any significant results. Too many people think they can just hop on the internet or join some system and be rolling in the money quickly and easily. That’s not going to happen. Any business takes a lot of time and hard work to develop.

Now, you know the top home business opportunities for this year, so get up off your butt and get started right away! You could be on the path to financial freedom by the end of 2011.
