Well, typically when someone asks me how to make money fast online, I tell them it’s not going to happen so they might as well get that thought out of their head and not even try. The reason I say that is because when the words “make money online” combined with “fast” get stuck in someones head, it’s almost always a recipe for failure and disappointment.

However, that’s usually only because they think they can just sign up for some sort of business opportunity and be making a life-changing income within a month or two. That NEVER happens! Don’t even let that possibility creep into your head no matter what you read on some sales letter.

You simply cannot build a sustainable income overnight or quit your job the next day. That’s not going to happen! It takes a lot of time and hard work to build a real online business that is bringing in the kind of money you can live off.

Furthermore, you will NOT earn full-time money quickly on the internet by joining any type of online business opportunity, starting your own website, MLM, blogging, Amazon, affiliate marketing or just about any other way.

Those things can be great ways to build a long term business, eventually earn a very good living from, and even create financial freedom — but they are not legit ways to earn money fast. Yes, every once in a while it does happen but it’s extremely rare, so don’t expect it to happen for you.

Alright, now that I told you what you can’t do, I will tell you what you CAN do to make money fast when you desperately need it…

Even with everything being said above, sometimes you get into a situation where you REALLY need to make money now, but as I said, that’s not usually an easy thing to do. However, there are some ways to make money online right now if you really need to.

It is certainly possible to make money fast today but it probably isn’t going to be a lot (that’s important to note).

Yet, if you are just needing some quick cash to get you by and you are willing to truly go after it, then you can do it. However, you should be realistic in how much you expect to earn, and think of the bigger picture where it may take you some time to start earning a significant amount.

Below, I have listed a handful of things you can do today in order to earn fast money online when you really need it most and you won’t need to learn how to build an internet business in order to do them.

Some of them you can actually do the work today and get paid today, and some of them aren’t quite so immediate but are still very fast ways to make money online that you can start on right now.

Note that some of the below are faster/easier than others, and some have more profit potential than others but require a bit more time/skill, but all can be great ways to earn money relatively quickly. You almost certainly aren’t going to get rich off these methods but they can absolutely help when you are in a bind.

Great Ways Make Money Online without Investment

* Freelancing – Something you can do that often makes fast money online is doing some freelance work or providing a service that other people will pay for. This is a great way to make money right now because there are a lot of people out there looking to pay someone else to do just about every task you could think of.

Freelance workers are in high demand and it’s almost certain that you have a skill set that someone would be willing to pay you to utilize. Internet marketers are especially notorious for outsourcing a lot of their business tasks to freelance workers.

Some common freelancing gigs are content writing, copywriting, video, article writing, blogging, link building/SEO, web design, programming, coding, customer support, marketing, graphic design, data entry, translation, and many other things.

For instance, Fiverr is a popular place where you can get paid to do gigs for people. You can find people doing just about everything imaginable on there for a small fee and you certainly have some sort of skill that people would pay you for. * Get Paid To (GPT) Sites – There are many reputable “get paid to” websites — also known simply as GPT sites — out there where you can quickly earn extra money doing simple tasks. Some of these tasks include; taking online surveys, completing free offers, reading emails, posting in forums, joining free websites, commenting on blogs, trying products, playing online games, and all sorts of other things.

These sites are nearly always free to join and are some of the most popular ways to make money fast on the internet. If you need to make money now then GPT sites should be on your list to check out right away. Don’t expect to replace your salary from them but you can certainly make some easy money when needed.

You can join them in a matter of just a few minutes. Then, you just start doing the things they offer to earn money. Here’s one that I recommend…

FusionCash – A very simple pay per action website that allows you to earn money by completing various tasks.

The reason these websites are able to pay you to do such simple things is because they are paid by other companies that are willing to spend a lot of money for information from potential customers to find out exactly what people want or need, and their opinion on various products and services.

There are some people who earn hundreds of dollars every week from these sites and many more people who at least earn a little extra money every month to help with their expenses. These sites can be great ways to make money fast online very easily.

Another advantage of using the above GPT sites to earn money is that you get to work from home at your own convenience and the tasks you do in order to get paid are not difficult at all. You can quickly and easily earn extra money to pay some bills you are behind on or use it for anything else you need extra cash for.

* Craigslist – You can’t forget about the big CL if you want to know how to make money right now. This is one of the best places for doing exactly that.

There’s a section on CL called “gigs” and you can almost always find several odd jobs (gigs) in your area that people are paying to have done for them. Obviously this isn’t online income but you are finding it on the internet and it’s still super quick & easy, so I am including it.

For example; A few years ago I found a listing on there from a lady offering $200 just to move a dresser from a bedroom out to the garage. Another way you can use Craigslist to make money fast is by selling things on it. This is probably the most obvious use of it since it is one of the main reasons for the existence of the site.

You certainly have various items sitting in your basement, storage, closets, or even in plain sight that you really don’t ever use or need to keep around anymore. We all have stuff lying around somewhere that we’ll never use again and it can often be sold to make some quick cash. Selling this stuff is a great way to earn extra cash while also freeing up some space in your home.

You might think it’s worthless junk that nobody will want, but one mans junk is another mans treasure. You could even hit up garage sales and swap meets to find stuff to sell online. You might get it for a few bucks and sell it for a large profit.

Of course, you can also sell them on auction sites such as Amazon, eBay, or other similar online auction and classified sites to earn fast money online. But I purposely left them off this list because they typically take more time to sell since you have to wait for the auction to end, and you have to ship it.

Usually with CL the person will come pick it up so there is no shipping time/costs and not a lot of waiting. It’s possible to list something for sale on CL today and have it sold with money in hand by the next day.

* Site Flipping – This is something that people have been doing to earn money for a long time but in the past few years it has dramatically increased in popularity. The basics of it are similar to what people who flip houses do in the real world except it is done with virtual online property.

The process is fairly straightforward… You find a site to buy that needs a little “fixing up” so it is being sold for a low price. You make the necessary improvements such as giving it a better theme, building more traffic, increasing profits, and anything else you can do to raise the value. Then, you sell it for a large profit.

If you need to make money now and don’t have the time or resources to buy a site and fix it, you can build a new site and sell it for a quick cash influx. Most likely you won’t get very much out of it but you could get a couple hundred dollars to help out with your situation. If you have any experience with building sites then you should be able to get a decent one done in a day or two.

* Warrior Special Offers (WSO) – There is a section of the Warrior Forum for special offers members can create and sell to other members. These can be just about anything as long as they are original and are offered at a lower price that is specifically for the forum members. Some examples of what people sell as WSO’s are backlinks, PLR articles, ebooks, reports detailing their systems for making money, video tutorials, mentoring services, products, blog themes, keyword lists, and so much more.

Many of these things can be created in one day or less, so if you need to make money right now then you can create a WSO to sell. It does cost $20+ to list a WSO but if you create something useful it’s usually well worth the cost because you can earn a significant profit. There are people who make thousands of dollars every month just from warrior special offers.

Also, there’s no need to buy any products or services that supposedly teach you how to make money on the internet or even do it for you. There are more than enough blogs and forums that you can learn from for free (like this one). And I have never seen any product that lives up to promises of doing it for you, so you can definitely skip those. Yes, there are some tools and resources than can help you along the way but don’t fall for all the hype you see every day from people promoting products that are supposed to be the newest and coolest way to earn money.

Work hard. Keep learning. Find a knowledgeable mentor. Push through failures. Never give up. That’s how to build a successful online business.

Three Easy Ways to Make Money Blogging

It’s no secret that blogging has become one of the best ways to make money online in recent years, and will probably continue that way for a very long time. Blogs are free or cheap to start, fairly simple to set up, easy to maintain, and offer a great platform for sharing information with the world. Many people blog just for fun but most people these days want at least some profit from their blogging efforts. You can create multiple streams of income with your blog and doing so is probably easier than you might think.

Here are three simple ways to make money blogging:

1) Contextual Advertising

It helps if you choose niches that you really enjoy and know a lot about so you truly enjoy writing about them in articles, blog posts, web pages, and everywhere else. You don’t absolutely have to choose a niche you enjoy and are knowledgeable about. Many people don’t, but it does help if you do.

No matter what route you take, you do need to be passionate about making money online. It can’t be something you go into just to “give it a try” or to “see how it goes” or anything else like that. You need to be excited and KNOW that you will build a successful online home business no matter what it takes. It’s your own business, not a job or a hobby, so be joyful about it. True passion will go a long way for you in achieving all your dreams.

2) Persistence – Building a successful online business is a process that requires you to be dedicated and persistent. You will need to learn various internet marketing strategies, lay the groundwork for your business, do research, build sites, market, keep learning, and so on… Then keep doing it.

There’s a steep learning curve to making money online and you will have plenty of failures, and other things that don’t go as planned. It’s people who persist through all of this without quitting that succeed when the rest don’t.

3) Patience – It takes time to build a successful online home business and earn money on the internet. Rarely does anything happen fast and if it does it’s usually not sustainable. Things you do today may not immediately affect your business, it could take months before work you do now gives you a return.

The people who come online expecting to get rich fast are the ones who ultimately give up when it doesn’t happen. You need to be patient and keep working toward a future goal that you will achieve if you keep at it. Don’t get discouraged when you don’t see money rolling in nearly as fast as you hoped. Be patient while growing your online business and you will reap the rewards in the end.

Be Very Cautious of Make Money Online Schemes

There are a lot of people out there who are looking for the easiest ways to make money online. Nobody wants to spend 12 hours a day working to earn money on the internet if they could work a small fraction of that time and make the same amount of money. However, there are an insane amount of programs, opportunities, ebooks, reports, gimmicks, schemes, and scams out there. So, you really need to be careful to not get sucked into something that is going to end up costing you a lot more money than you will ever make doing it.

There are a lot of marketers on the internet promising that you will make $5,000 per week online working for just a few hours per week, or some other crazy claim like that. Do not get suckered into all the hype flying around. They got to where they are, if by some small chance they are telling you the truth, through a lot of hard work, trial and effort, learning, money, and time. There really is no easy way to truly make a lot of money online. You must be willing to put in plenty of time and effort and actually learn about what you want to do. Sure, there are ways to make some fast money but it won’t be much and it won’t be sustainable.

If you are interested in making money online, there are some basic rules and things you should be aware of before you buy a product or service, or join a programs that claims you will make money on the internet.

I can’t tell you how many ebooks, marketing tools, and services I have bought over the years that have cost me much more money to buy than I have ever gotten out of them. But don’t think that all products are bad because they aren’t, but you do need to be cautious before you spend $97-$2,500 on a product or service you know nothing about.

First, you need to know the person selling you the product before you buy it. I don’t mean you need to have personally met them but you should at least know what their online business reputation is and what people have said about their past products, if they have any. Before you send them your money, get on their mailing list or read their blog if they have one. Are they giving you useful information and advice? Or, are they constantly trying to sell you something? I would steer clear of someone who doesn’t send out quality emails or give useful information on their blog. If they don’t have enough solid information that they give away for free, they probably aren’t worth spending your money on.

Be careful buying products from forums as well. There are many legitimate product creators on forums, but it’s not a good idea to be the first person to jump in and buy. Wait for some reviews from other forum members so you can see what they think of it and gauge its quality that way. Private messaging or emailing the seller is also a good idea so you can get to know them and how they work.

You shouldn’t be afraid to purchase products and services that help your online business and make it easier for you to earn money. Just do your homework first by getting to know more about the person and the products they offer. And don’t waste all your cash on ebooks or other money making products. It is possible to do it all for free or very cheap, so don’t spend money that you don’t really have.

Learn How to Make Money with these Blogs

There are more than enough blogs out there claiming to teach you how to make money but a large percentage of them don’t live up to that claim. Most of them post crap that doesn’t really teach anything. However, there are a few gems on the internet who really will teach you how to make money if you listen to what they say.

Below I have listed ten make money online blogs that I am subscribed to via my Google RSS feed reader. The only reason I stay subscribed to them is because they cut through all the crap and actually give useful information that teaches their readers how to earn money online, and sometimes even offline.

So, here’s the top 10 make money online blogs that I recommend, in no particular order:

1) Okay so I might have cheated a little bit by adding this make money online blog to the list because I am a co-owner of it. But we do offer a lot of great advice there so it deserves to be on the list. Not to mention, it’s one of the top ranked make money blogs on the internet so that has to count for something. Hope to see you there!

2) Grizzly Brears is a master at making money on the internet and he teaches others how to do it at his make money for beginners blog. I’ve learned a LOT from this blog and consider Griz to be one of my main mentors as well as a friend.

3) Court Tuttle is another person I have learned a great deal from about how to make money online and I consider him to be another one of my mentors. He has a very popular internet marketing blog and also co-owns the keyword academy with Mark Butler. They also have a coaching program that I highly recommend.

4) If you want to learn how to make money online with SEO then Ben is definitely someone to follow. He doesn’t post often but when he does writes very long posts filled with a ton of incredibly useful information. You’ll learn a lot from this blog and if you do what he says you will earn money online.

5) Allyn Hane truly is the “master of his own domain” at blogger illustrated. He has a personality that was born for being a video blogger and he knows his stuff. You’ll learn a lot of tips from his blog that will help you make money online and you’ll be entertained at the same time.

6) Jason Pereira is “The University Kid” who also teaches how to make money at home on his online business blog. He’s an entrepreneur who started his blog while he was still in school. Now he is a full time internet marketer who gives very useful money making information on his blog.

7) If you want to earn online cash your go to man is Frank Carr. His blog is full of great advice that will help you learn how to make money online. He’s also the creator of some products that are very helpful for internet marketers to save time and earn money.

8) Another person who teaches how to make money the honest way is Terry Didcott. He’s an internet marketing expert who also happens to be a great guy and one of my closest online business friends. He has no problem telling it like it is and he knows what he is talking about.

9) I bet you never thought a wookie named Chewie could teach you how to make money online, or did ya? Ok so, there is a real person behind the “whatawookie” blog but I am not going to reveal his true identity. Sorry to disappoint you if you really thought it was a wookie. Either way there’s still a lot of great online money making information on this blog.

10) Last but not least, we certainly can’t forget about the controversial blogger, Lis Sowerbutts, who holds nothing back as she teaches you how to earn passive income online. There’s no doubt that you will find something worth reading at this blog as Lis likes to stir things up while she teaches how to earn money online.

Some of the internet marketers who run the above blogs are well known and some are not, but none of them are what people typically call “A-List” bloggers. And there’s a good reason for that… Most of the time those A-list bloggers don’t post content on their blogs that is actually useful for learning how to make money! Yes, every once in a while they come out with a golden nugget of information, but most of the time they just post fluff and hype that doesn’t really teach you anything, or re-hashed stuff that has been posted a thousand times before on various blogs. That’s not the case with the blogs listed above. Their posts are very useful. No, not every single one of their posts are amazing, but in general they very much are.

If you want to learn how to make money — and I assume you do if you are reading this right now — then you need to read the blogs listed above on a regular basis. And actually take action on what you learn. You can’t earn money just by reading blogs; you have to put the information into action. Well, they should keep you busy for a while so I will let you go for now.

The best way to make money online also happens to be incredibly boring and tedious at times.

Yep, that’s right, nothing glamorous about it and you certainly won’t get famous doing it. But it works and works very well. That’s all that matters!

So, what is this wonderful yet boring way to make money online?

It goes a little something like this…

1) Find a niche – Do keyword research until you find a niche worth building a website about. This has to be one that doesn’t have too much competition so you can actually rank highly on search engines for it without spending years trying. It also needs to have a good amount of profit potential. That basically means enough people searching for the keywords who are going to spend money.

2) Build a website – Once you have found your niche it’s time to build a website. There are a few different types of sites you can build and the type you choose will depend on what your niche is targeting. The most common are blogs and static sites, but there are others.

3) Write content – You need to get a good base of content on your site right away. Usually somewhere around 10 posts/pages are sufficient to get you started. These can typically be written within a few hours depending on how much knowledge you have of the niche or how much research you need to do. But adding fresh quality content is an ongoing thing that will need to be done periodically for as long as you have the site.

4) Get backlinks – This is very important. Each of the steps above is mostly just to lay the foundation so you can start building backlinks. There are many different ways to get the best backlinks possible and it has been covered enough here on this blog and on many others, so I won’t get into it right now. There’s nothing fancy or glorious about those 5 steps and they can be quite boring at times, yet that is the best way to make money online. You can cash in on a virtually unlimited supply of niches and the income keeps adding up until you are really raking it in.

The best part about it is that once the initial work has been done with each site, you can move on to the next and continue to earn money from it with very little extra work. The search engine traffic keeps coming in every day like clockwork and you keep earning every day without do any extra work on the site. You just keep building your online empire and your income keeps increasing. That’s what you call a residual income!

Now, in order to do this, you need to quit doing all the “fun” stuff that isn’t earning you any money. Stop trying to figure out how to make money with Twitter. Stop sitting on Facebook all day. Stop worry about how many times your posts make the front page of Reddit. Stop hitting all the social sites every day. Stop reading every blog post you come across trying to find the next big thing that is going to make you rich. Stop focusing on building a bunch of RSS subscribers for your blog. Stop reading email and forums all day so you don’t miss something. Stop buying into all the hype of big name bloggers and internet marketing gurus. Stop joining membership sites and purchasing every new make money online system or product. Stop… Stop… Stop!

Okay, I think you get my point. None of that is really helping you build your internet business and actually make money for you. Yes, some of it does help a little and some of it is entertaining, but it’s mostly a waste of your time! No problem taking a little time out of your day for some of those things as a sort of break. But don’t get sucked in or you’ll end up wasting away your day without doing anything really productive. Your days might be a little more lonely and boring but your bank account will thank you.

Personally I would rather be a little bored sitting at my home computer working when I want, with a bank account full of money and enjoying my life, than trying to become the next big A-list blogger, having fun with social media sites, but broke as hell and going about it all wrong. Or worse, slaving away at a regular job that I hate and barely getting by on the money I earn. How about you? You do actually want to make money, don’t you? Then listen to what I am saying here!

Ways to Make Money on the Internet

There are several ways to make money on the internet and below I have listed some of the more popular ones. You can pick the ones that suit you best and do them separately or combine them for maximum earnings.

1) Google Adsense – This is one of the best ways to make money on the internet because you can put it in almost any type of website and it is completely free to join. Of course, there are a lot of different strategies and techniques for maximizing your Adsense earnings but I won’t go into that here. There’s plenty of information about that freely available all over the internet.

2) Affiliate Marketing – You can earn a great living as an affiliate marketer. There’s an affiliate program for products or services on almost every topic you can think of. You can join them for free and get paid commissions on every sale you bring in. This is right up there with Adsense as one of the best ways to make money on the internet because it’s typically free and very easy to get started.

3) Information Products – I’m sure you’ve probably bought at least one ebook from a website and if you haven’t then you have certainly heard of them. These are called information products and they are very good way to start your own online business. If you have a lot of knowledge about a particular topic and can write your own ebook then you could make a lot of money from it. This is a little more difficult than affiliate marketing because you have to actually create the product and website. However, the rewards can be much greater if you write a very useful ebook, market it well, and get your own affiliates promoting it.

4) Blogging – It seems like pretty much everyone has at least one blog these days and many more are being started every day. Blogs are very popular for many reasons. One of those reasons is because they can be used to make money on the internet. You can start a blog about virtually any topic and monetize it with Adsense, affiliate programs, advertising sales, your own product, or any of several other ways to make money blogging.

5) Fiverr Freelancing – There are many internet marketers, bloggers, website owners, business owners, and just regular people who need stuff done for them. It can be content writing, web design, programming, link building, marketing, copywriting, videos, or many other things. If you have one of those skills, you can make money doing freelance work for these people.

6) Site Flipping – This is similar to flipping houses in the offline world. You buy a website (or build one) then “fix” it up and sell it for a big profit. You can make it look better by giving it a better theme, increase its rankings and traffic, build up its subscribers, get it earning more money, etc… And then you can sell it for a substantial amount more than you bought it for. This is a very popular way to make money on the internet right now.

7) eBay – No big secret here. Almost everyone knows you can make money online with eBay. Sell stuff you already own but want to get rid of, create a product to sell, get into drop shipping, find items at garage sales or wherever else for really cheap and resell them at a higher price, or anything else you want. There are a lot of ways to make money with eBay.

8) Get Paid To (GPT) Sites – You can get paid to take surveys online, complete free offers, try products, read emails, post in forums, or a whole bunch of other things. These can be a good way to make extra money online but don’t expect to get rich doing it. You usually only earn a small amount for each task. Although it can add up over time.
