Can [Get Paid to Click] Make You Money Online?

I was looking for ways to make money online when I stumbled upon this one particular method of making money that caught my attention. The method is called “get paid to click” programs. The goal is that the site would pay their registered members to click on a link to a site. The member would have to stay for more than 10 seconds on the site for the visit to be acknowledged. The site would then pay the member $0.01 per click. They also have an affiliate program that allows you to earn money by telling other people about the site. They would pay 5% commissions to you for whatever every referral you send earns. Is this an easy way to earn money online?

You would think it is easy to make money from doing this. But it is not that easy in reality. It sounds so easy because all you would have to do is just go visit a website and get paid for it. I also thought so initially, but then I looked into it further. Since I would get paid after spending more than 10 secs on a website, I thought of opening the links in many tabs.  For instance, I would open 20 tabs with different links. By the time I have opened the 20th tab, the 10 secs would have elapsed for the 1st tab. Then I would close it and notify the get paid to click website. Well, I was wrong. The get paid to click webmasters also know the drill and they have safeguards in place to stop it from happening.

I also heard of people using automated programs to do the website clicking for them. They would provide one link at a time. Meaning that you opening maximum 6 websites in a minute. Another issue I had with them was that I was not giving clicking opportunities everyday. You can sometimes only get one in 2 or 3 days. So, it is very difficult to earn any real money, and it takes a lot more time than you think, which makes it not worth it for the low amount you make.

If you want to make money online with get paid to click websites, you need to have a lot of referrals. Referrals are the people that would make you money because you get 5% from the referrals earnings without doing anything extra on your own. This can add up over time if you are able to refer a lot of people. Using your referral link, you can refer anybody you want. How does the get paid to click site make its money? They make money from their advertisers. People pay them to get traffic to their website.
